Fundraising
Fundraising is a key aspect of Cub Scouting in order to pay for activities, awards, and the other costs for running and maintaining both the Boy Scout organization and primarily to support the individual Packs. In Pack 39, we budget at the beginning of each year to determine based on our proposed calendar how much funding will be required to make it through the year. We then set fundraising targets to attain the needed level of funding.
Pack 39 relies primarily on Popcorn Sales in Fall, Scout Card Sales in Spring, and a couple car washes or other pack fundraising activities each year to support our scouts. It is expected that each scout participates in these activities to the best of their ability to meet the minimum targets to operate our pack.
More information about our fundraising activities will be available on this website shortly.
